Spencer Simpson, FNP-C
Spencer Simpson’s healthcare journey began in 2007 when he started as an Emergency Room Technician at Saint Alphonsus Boise Trauma Center. This hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment ignited his passion for patient care and led him to pursue a career in nursing.
In 2012, Spencer earned his nursing degree from Idaho State University and began working as a Registered Nurse in the emergency department at St. Alphonsus in Nampa. Over the next 12 years, he gained extensive experience in emergency medicine, developing a strong foundation in patient care, critical thinking, and the ability to handle complex medical situations.
Driven to expand his knowledge and enhance his ability to serve patients, Spencer went on to earn his Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner from Northwest Nazarene University in 2023. With this advanced training, he is now able to offer comprehensive care to individuals and families, providing evidence-based treatments and a patient-centered approach.
As a lifetime Idahoan, Spencer has been happily married for 21 years and is the proud father of five children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially camping and making memories during the summer months.
Spencer is excited to combine his years of experience and education to deliver the highest quality care and improve the health and well-being of the community.

Joshua Mason, DPT
Joshua is a skilled and personable individual who constantly strives to improve, and is TVRTW’s most tenured Physical Therapist. In the year 2000, he began his career as a Personal Trainer at the Bellevue PRO Sports club. He then pursued his higher education, starting at BYU-Idaho, then finishing his Bachelors at BYU-Provo. He then was fortunate to attend the University of Utah for his PT school. Since graduating in 2009, he has spent his professional career developing an extensive and lengthy background working with outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, sprinkled with home health and the occasional neurological patient. He uses a combination of education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise with emphasis on restoring and developing proper mechanics for immediate and long term health, and he continues to attend continuing education programs to improve, broaden, and enhance his skills.
After working for 16 years for other people, Joshua was fortunate to have found the right people at the right time and in the right place, allowing for an opportunity to start his own clinic, and thus we have Treasure Valley Return to Work. Owning his own practice allows him to utilize skills and methods to personalize rehab to the individual person, their needs and their goals, the way it should be.
Joshua was born in SLC, Utah, but grew up in Woodinville, WA. He is the youngest of five children, (two girls, and three boys). Likewise, he is also the father of his own six children, (five girls and one boy).
Joshua has a great love for sports and exercise, and is an avid hockey player and fan. He enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction books, and is currently in the process of publishing his first fantasy novel. Like most of us he loves pizza, chocolate chip cookies, and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
