At Treasure Valley Return to Work, our mission is to provide high quality medical care to employees while protecting employers’ interests by actively managing outcomes which affect workers compensation claims cost, experience modifier, and OSHA recordability.

We treat all workplace injuries from muscle strains to lacerations, as well as providing other services required for various occupations and industries. Learn more about the available services below.

  • Injured on the job? We are equipped to treat all workplace injuries from the time of injury to full work-release, and work closely with employers to provide transitional work during recovery.

  • We offer a wide range of physical exam options and capacity tests, including:

    • DOT physical exams/drug tests

    • Pre-employment physical exams

      • bloodwork

      • immunizations

      • medical clearance for respirator use (questionnaires, evaluation if necessary, and fit testing)

    • Fit-for-duty and POET testing

    • Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)

  • We offer all types of employment-related drug screening (pre-employment, post-incident, random, for-cause).

  • We use state-of-the art audiometry equipment to evaluate employees baseline hearing at time of hire and to annually re-evaluate it to ensure no occupational hearing loss has occurred.

    Employers are required to provide this testing in workplaces where noise levels exceed 85 dBA.   • Employees who are required to wear a respirator for their job are required by law to have a medical evaluation and fit test (in-most cases) prior to using the respirator.

    We offer an OSHA-compliant online Respirator Medical Questionnaire, follow-up examinations where necessary, and respirator fit testing. Please call ahead to schedule fit testing, and bring the respirator that will be used. On-site fit testing is also available.

  • In-house physical therapy minimizes wait time to make recovery as quick as possible and reduce the risk of re-injury. Our physical therapists' goal is to facilitate faster recovery so you can get back to your livelihood as soon as possible.

  • Some injuries require additional conditioning beyond standard physical therapy before employees can return to their previous jobs without elevated risk for reinjury. In these cases we simulate various work tasks for a period shorter than their normal workday to allow for close observation and evaluation of the patient’s ability to do the job task, and to assist in regaining stamina and endurance before returning to full duty work.
